Meirion Amateur Radio Society firmly believes that the future of our hobby and the society has to come from newcomers and people with an interest of all things radio, young and old have to come together with common goals and pass to each other the fruits of there knowledge. It is in this spirit that MARS has a comprehensive training scheme and holds regular courses and exams in the foundation - intermediate - advanced stages of the amateur license.
We have a fully RSGB accredited training team with a pass rate which is second to none. The training provided by the team is thorough and comprehensive, and manipulated to suit the candidates needs and level of knowledge. After completing any of the courses with MARS the candidate can be confident that they have come away with more than just the knowledge to pass the exam. Our team caters for all ages and our fully accredited test centre facility will help you feel calm during the exam.
We hold courses at varying times of the year and as and when there is demand. If you would like to participate in one of our courses please contact the committee via email or pop by one of our monthly club nights, and we shall be able to give all the information required.
